Saturday 14th November 2026, The Manor Hotel, Meriden
We’re once again at The Manor in Meriden, where we’ll be holding our riders’ meeting in the afternoon to discuss the 2026 season and the new 2027 season. By then, we should have a clearer idea of which meetings we are likely to be invited to, and we’d also like to hear your feedback on this year, along with any suggestions for changes to the way things are run in 2026.
Please email any suggestions in advance so we can take some time to consider them before the meeting.
The dinner menu is listed at the end of this email. Please choose your meal and email Mike Russell at mikerussellracing@gmail.com with the names of the entrants and their dinner selections using the assigned letters, for example: A, C, B. If you have any attending guests you would like to be seated with, please include that in your email as well.
This year there is some exciting evening entertainment for those that don’t wish to just stand around the bar regaling stories of how fast you were during the year and if it wasn’t for just one more lap, you would have had that Mark Taylor! See if you can work this out from the poster above…
Booking Your Hotel Room
We recommend that you don’t delay in getting your room reserved as they are only reserved until the 18th of October (please mention you are with the Lansdowne dinner group to get the discounted price)! The price will be £110.00 for sole occupancy and £120.00 for double, both inclusive of breakfast.
The dinner is £36.50 per head which you can add to your room. For those not staying at the hotel please pay the hotel directly on the 14th. Please note they no longer accept cheques, so either cash or by card.
Trophy Winners
If you were fortunate enough to win a trophy last year, and haven’t already done so, please contact Michael Russell using the email address and details provided in this email to arrange drop-off of your trophy. This will ensure we have enough time to complete the engraving in time for this year. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
The timetable for the day is as follows:
- From 1.00pm – Arrive at the hotel (all rooms may not be available at this time).
- 3.30pm – Riders meeting in the Guernsey Suite (tea/coffee and biscuits will be available).
- 7.00pm – Pre dinner drinks in the Aylesford Suite bar area.
- 7.30pm – Dinner will be served in the Aylesford Suite.
- 1.00am – Make sure to get your last orders in before this as the bar closes.
